Blogging about Blogs- Blog Services

I am not often fond of CMS or “Content Management System” programs, such as Joomla, basically because of its security problems for small business… But they have one major common application used within them- PHP or “Personal Home Page” a Hypertext Preprocessor, which is widely used for general-purpose scripting language that was originally designed for web development to produce dynamic web pages in conjunction to HTML. One it’s the largest uses is in Blogging…

All of the known Blogging software or services I have viewed use PHP as the under lining scripting language… And in Blogging it is a great thing… As Blogging is basically just a diary or journal of articles that needs some form of search mechanism to help with it’s search or recording the many articles, photos and videos one used in this form of multi media…

Here is a list of some of the Blogging services you might find online: Blogger, WordPress, TypePad, LiveJournal, Squarespace, AOL Journals, Vox, Windows Live Spaces Splinder an Italian Blogging site,

Some Blog Services Logos

all of these Blogging services include the common use of PHP as the underlining scripting they use for this service…

Blogs started out with (a contraction of the term “web log”),

peterme.com

in 1999, Peter Merholz of Peterme.com declared he had decided, “to pronounce the word ‘weblog’ as ‘wee-blog.’ Or ‘blog’ for short.”

Since then the world of Blogging has grown to the point of it being considered at the moment news from all over the world… Journals, daily writings, news, views, politics and business with of art, photos, video and informative writings of almost any subject one can think of can be found within Blog searches using Goggle’s special Blog Search: http://blogsearch.google.com/

In Business one has the opportunity to prove their knowledge of their service or products they offer, gaining respect, professionalism and “expert” status in their fields… it is also a great way to highlight a product or service one might offer… If your looking for a Blog Service, you might want to check out “Blog Services Review 2010- TopTenReviews” and find the best Blog service for your needs!!!

For my Needs, I have chosen WordPress… When I looked into choosing a Blog Service and Blog Application, I looked at what other professional Bloggers where using, I also liked the amount of different widgets, ease of use of the software and CSS editing available for WordPress… I am currently hosting it with WordPress.com, but am soon going to be hosting it within it’s own domain name using 1and1 Web Hosting Services

    • Hmmm… Seems to me that when someone copy’s an article and posts it in their blog, they should at least ask permission!!!

What sucks is this site, the owner is hiding behind DomainsByProxy.com.

DomainsByProxy.com is a service that hide one’s personal information from all online, meant mostly to protect the domain resistor from spam, not a bad service, when used for it’s Real Reason…

But when used like this, hiding the owner’s name and their copying other’s people’s works with affiliate links in their site FOR PROFIT, means COPYRIGHT INFINGMENT!!!

The owner should have at least asked!!!

  2. Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!
